About Syarat SNBP

Before applying for SNBP, make sure you meet all requirements. This page summarizes SNBP 2026 eligibility criteria based on official SNPMB rules, including school requirements, student requirements, and program-specific requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can all grade 12 students apply for SNBP?
No. Only students in the top 50% of their school based on semester 1-5 GPA are eligible. School quota is determined by accreditation: A = 40%, B = 25%, C = 5%.
Can last year's graduates apply for SNBP?
Yes, students with a 2025 diploma can still apply for SNBP 2026 (maximum 1 gap year). Other requirements still apply, including GPA ranking and no prior SNBP acceptance.
What if my school has C accreditation?
Schools with C accreditation get a limited SNBP quota (5% of eligible students). You can still apply, but chances are smaller. Consider UTBK-SNBT as your main pathway and SNBP as a bonus.
Can vocational school (SMK) students apply for SNBP?
Yes, SMK students can apply for SNBP for certain programs at PTN. However, program choices are limited due to different curricula. Consult with your school counselor about programs matching your SMK major.
Do report card grades include extracurricular and behavior scores?
No. SNBP uses academic subject grades from semester 1-5 transcripts. Behavior scores, extracurricular activities, and attendance are not included in academic evaluation, but non-academic achievement portfolios can be a plus.
Can I apply for both SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN?
Yes, SNBP and SPAN-PTKIN are two separate pathways. SNBP is for general state universities (UI, UGM, ITB, etc.), SPAN-PTKIN is for Islamic state universities (UIN, IAIN, STAIN). You can apply for both to increase your chances.

Beware of Admission Fraud

Common scam types:

  • Offers of "backdoor entry" or guaranteed admission through intermediaries.
  • Payment requests outside official university channels.
  • Fake social media accounts impersonating admission committees.
  • Registration links from domains that are not official university websites.

Use only official channels:

  • Official SNPMB: snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id

If you encounter suspected fraud, report it to the university or to the police via patrolisiber.id.
